Yemeni Army Ready for a Decisive Battle to Liberate the Country from Houthi Militia
The Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagir Bin Aziz, affirmed the army's readiness to engage in a decisive battle aimed at liberating Yemen from the Houthi militia, which is internationally classified as a terrorist group.

This statement was made during his address at the closing ceremony of the training year and the graduation of the third Commando Battalion of the First Reserve Brigade, held on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

In his speech, Bin Aziz declared: "We are on the verge of liberation and victory. We are advancing towards the battle that will rid our people and country of the evil and tyranny sown by Iran in our land."

He also noted the collapse of Iran's proxies in the Arab world, expressing his confidence in the heroes and their comrades in the armed forces and across all battlefronts to confront the evil orchestrated by Iran.

Lieutenant General Bin Aziz emphasized that the armed forces have grown stronger and more resilient in countering the Houthi terrorist organization and its destructive project backed by the Iranian regime.

The ceremony featured a military parade and a tactical combat exercise performed by the third Commando Battalion, showcasing the high level of physical fitness and combat skills gained by the trainees during the training period, according to military media reports.
