The editorial of the Yemen Army Newspaper emphasized that peace in Yemen requires both sides to have a genuine will to end the conflict, a quality currently absent in the Houthi terrorist group, which rejects peace as a fundamental value.
The editorial noted that the Houthis' culture is in direct opposition to the values of security and stability in Yemen. In its latest issue, the newspaper highlighted the ongoing violations committed by the Houthi militias against the Yemeni people, further challenging the international community and the United Nations, making it difficult to achieve peace with them.
Additionally, the editorial pointed out that the continued complacency toward the Houthis has only exacerbated the situation and led to an increase in crimes. The militia uses every dialogue opportunity to reorganize its ranks and enhance its military capabilities, making the military option necessary to restore the state and protect Yemen's sovereignty.
The editorial concluded that waiting for a political solution with a militia supported by Iran will only lead to worsening disasters. It stressed that time is running out, and Yemen's people cannot afford to wait any longer in the face of the growing threat of fragmentation and destruction
