U.S. Airstrikes Target Kamaran Island and Houthi Sites in Yemen
The Houthi group announced on Sunday that U.S. aircraft carried out five airstrikes on Kamaran Island, located in the Red Sea off western Yemen. Houthi-affiliated media reported the strikes but did not provide further details about the targeted locations.
Earlier on Saturday, the Houthis confirmed that six people were killed or injured in American airstrikes on Saada province in northern Yemen.
Additionally, a U.S. airstrike targeted the home of a Houthi leader in the Shu’ub district of the capital, Sana’a.
These developments reflect an increase in U.S. military operations against Houthi positions across various parts of Yemen.
