Senior Houthi Leader Abu Al-Hassan Al-Karrar Killed in Airstrikes on Hodeidah
Local sources have confirmed the death of prominent Houthi commander Abu Al-Hassan Al-Karrar in a series of airstrikes that targeted militia positions in Hodeidah on Thursday evening.

According to the sources, Al-Karrar—who held the position of “Supervisor of Hodeidah Province”—was killed in one of the strikes shortly after returning from Iran, where he reportedly underwent training and received direct instructions from Iranian officials.

Al-Karrar was considered one of the most influential field commanders within the Houthi ranks, known for his extensive authority and operational control. His death represents a significant blow to the group, particularly amid a growing wave of targeted airstrikes against their key strongholds.

This development is seen as part of ongoing efforts by coalition forces to weaken the Houthis' leadership and military infrastructure through precision strikes aimed at top commanders and strategic assets.
