Yemen’s Al-Alimi Arrives in Moscow, Praises Russia’s Support Amid Official Visit
Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council Chairman, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, praised Russia’s “steadfast” support for Yemen and its legitimate government, upon arriving in Moscow for an official visit at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking to the press, Al-Alimi expressed hope that the visit would open new avenues for bilateral cooperation. He was welcomed with an official reception at Vnukovo International Airport.
During the visit, Al-Alimi is expected to hold talks with President Putin and senior Russian officials, focusing on Yemen-Russia relations, the ongoing conflict in Yemen, and regional developments.
