Houthis Strike Tel Aviv as Israel Launches Assassination in Yemen
Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis), announced on Sunday morning that they launched a missile attack targeting sensitive Israeli positions in the occupied city of Jaffa.
He added that the operation was carried out in coordination with the Iranian military’s parallel attacks.
Israel’s public broadcaster (KAN) reported that Israel is facing a “compound and extensive” attack involving missiles from both Iran and Yemen, synchronized with swarms of drones reaching the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the Israeli Air Force conducted an assassination operation in Yemen. Channel 12 and Axios cited senior security officials stating that the target was Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the Houthi group, and described the operation as “dramatic” if confirmed successful.
On Saturday night, Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi voiced full support for Iran’s response against Israel and threatened Tel Aviv with an “open and ongoing war,” during a televised address aired by the group’s al-Masirah TV.
