Yemen and Turkey Reaffirm Strategic Ties in High-Level Diplomatic Meeting
Yemen’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Saleh Tariq, held a high-level meeting today with Ambassador Ahmet Rıza Demirbek, Director General for the Middle East and North Africa at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides discussed enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
Ambassador Tariq praised Turkey’s steadfast political and humanitarian support for Yemen, expressing appreciation for Ankara’s contributions, particularly in humanitarian aid and development. He emphasized the importance of ongoing political coordination amid regional developments.
Ambassador Demirbek reaffirmed Turkey’s unwavering support for Yemen’s unity and sovereignty, stressing his country's readiness to boost bilateral cooperation and contribute to peace and stability in the region.
The meeting is part of the Yemeni Embassy’s broader efforts in Ankara to reinforce diplomatic relations and expand strategic partnerships.
