Leaked Photo of Houthi Leader with Alleged Israeli Spy Sparks Outrage in Yemen

A controversial image circulating on Yemeni social media platforms shows Katherine Perez, an alleged Israeli spy, alongside senior Houthi figure Hassan Ali Al-Imad at a Shiite shrine in Tehran, raising major questions about their relationship and the context behind the meeting.

According to Yemeni journalist Radwan Al-Hamdani, Perez began her covert operations in Yemen in 2011 by marrying a local man as cover. She later moved to Iran and reportedly carried out one of the most sophisticated Mossad missions, seducing over 100 Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials via temporary marriages.

Al-Imad himself posted the photo with the cryptic caption: “Katherine Perez and Yemen’s Khomeini at a shrine... the rest is encrypted.”

Activists noted that Perez regularly appeared as a political analyst on Iran’s Press TV, promoting pro-Houthi and anti-coalition rhetoric internationally.

Analysts say the incident sheds light once again on Israel’s deep infiltration of Iran’s security structures, exploiting dissent within the regime governed by "Wilayat al-Faqih."
