According to security sources and Defense Line, former Houthi Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah was arrested at Aden International Airport on Wednesday while attempting to flee to Addis Ababa using forged travel documents.
Sharaf has been handed over to the Counter-Terrorism Unit in Aden, as he is listed among 550 Houthi leaders tried in absentia by a military court in Marib for terrorism, rebellion, and conspiracy to overthrow the legitimate government, under case number 2/2024.
