Israeli airstrike kills at least 8 Yemeni ministers
Media sources close to the Sanaa-based authorities confirmed that at least eight ministers were among those killed in an Israeli airstrike. The Political Council’s official statement only announced the death of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rehawi, without naming the other victims.

According to the sources, the ministers killed alongside the Prime Minister included: Foreign Minister Jamal Amer, Information Minister Hashem Sharaf al-Din, Youth and Sports Minister Mohammed al-Muwallad, Electricity, Energy and Water Minister Ali Saif Mohammed Hassan, Justice and Human Rights Minister Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah Ali, Deputy PM & Local Administration and Rural Development Minister Mohammed Hassan Ismail al-Madani, Public Works Minister Mohammed Ayash Qahim, and Culture Minister Ali Qasim al-Yafie.

The sources also indicated that other deputies, vice ministers, and senior officials were among the casualties, whose names are expected to be announced later. Political Council President Mahdi al-Mashat is expected to deliver an address tonight mourning the eight ministers.
