Diplomatic Evening in Ankara Strengthens Yemen–Turkey Ties and Condemns Attack on Qatar
Yemen’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Saleh Tareq, hosted a diplomatic evening at his residence in Ankara, attended by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz, senior officials from the Turkish Foreign Ministry, and Arab ambassadors accredited in Turkey.
The gathering highlighted the deep historical ties between Yemen and Turkey and stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in support of shared interests and Arab–Islamic causes. Participants also strongly condemned the attack on Qatar, describing it as a threat to Arab and Islamic national security and a call for unity.
The event underscored the pivotal roles of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey in forming an Arab–Islamic alliance to counter Israeli aggression and safeguard the Palestinian cause.
The evening concluded with extensive discussions among Arab ambassadors on the future of Arab–Turkish relations, alongside praise for Turkey’s supportive stance on Arab issues.
