A Yemeni human rights report presented at the 60th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva revealed that Iran-backed Houthis have committed over 21,000 severe violations against children since 2015, including killings, injuries, forced recruitment, abductions, and sexual violence.
The report highlights that over 30,000 children were forcibly recruited, more than 2.5 million children were denied education, and 17 million Yemeni children urgently need humanitarian assistance. The international community is urged to hold Houthi leaders accountable and conduct an independent investigation.
