Yemen National Team Arrives in Kuwait for Gulf Cup 26
The Yemen national football team arrived in Kuwait early this morning, becoming the first team to reach the country ahead of the 26th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup, set to begin on December 21 and run until January 3, 2025.
The team's head coach, Algerian Nouredine Ould Ali, has announced the final squad that will compete in the tournament. The squad consists of 26 players from both local and international clubs, as confirmed by the Yemen Football Association.
The final roster includes: Mohammed Aman, Abdullah Al-Saadi, Osama Haider, Haroon Al-Zubaydi, Amr Talal, Hamza Al-Rimi, Ahmed Nasser, Ridwan Al-Hubayshi, Hamza Al-Sarabi, Rami Al-Wasmani, Ali Al-Duqin, Ahmed Al-Khamisi, Omar Julan, Mohammed Al-Tayiri, Osama Anber, Anis Al-Maari, Mohammed Hashem, Tarek Shihab, Abdulwasea Al-Matari, Omar Al-Dahi, Qasim Al-Sharfi, Nasser Mohammedo, Abdulmajid Sabara, Mamdouh Bin Ajaj, Hamza Mahrous, Abdulaziz Masnum.
The Yemen national team will kick off their campaign in Gulf Cup 26 with a match against Iraq on December 22, 2024. The match is part of Group B, which also includes Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and will be held at the Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Stadium in Kuwait.
