Outstanding Achievement by Yemeni Officers at Command and Staff College in Mauritania
Yemeni officers participating in the 18th course at the National Command and Staff College in Mauritania achieved remarkable success, standing out among officers from several Arab and African countries.
The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, who personally honored the top-performing officers.
Colonel Ahmed Ali Al-Sabari earned a Master’s degree in Military Sciences with honors and ranked second in the entire class, securing first place among officers from partner and allied nations.
Another Yemeni participant, Colonel Ali Hadi Maroufiyan—one of eight Yemeni officers attending the course—secured third place in the graduation research evaluation, reflecting the high caliber of Yemeni military professionals.
The course, which began in November, included officers from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Ivory Coast, Gabon, and Cameroon. It focused on leadership development and operational planning in both academic and military contexts.
This achievement reflects the scientific and professional readiness of Yemeni officers, despite the ongoing challenges they face.
