Istanbul Hosts 3rd Creativity and Innovation Conference Showcasing Yemeni Youth Talents
The Yemeni Friendship and Cooperation Association in Turkey successfully concluded the 3rd Creativity and Innovation Conference on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Kalıcım University Conference Hall in Istanbul. The event was held under the patronage of Yemen’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The ceremony was attended by Yemen’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Saleh Tariq, the Secretary-General of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (IDSB), Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, and the head of the Yemeni community in Turkey, Dr. Waheed Al-Fureys, alongside Turkish and Arab academics.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Aqbi, Chairman of the Association, emphasized that the conference serves as a vital platform for Yemeni youth to showcase their scientific creativity. Ambassador Tariq praised the achievements as a “bright face of Yemen abroad” and presented an honorary shield to the association.
The event featured research projects under the “Kefaat” unit, student inventions through “Mulhimun”, and honored outstanding participants. It also included artistic performances, documentaries, and supportive speeches. On the sidelines, an exhibition showcased models of student innovations, allowing guests to see their creativity firsthand.
