First Flights Launch from Mocha International Airport as Tariq Saleh Departs to Brazil for COP30
Mocha International Airport launched its first Yemen Airways flight today, marking the official start of aviation operations after months of technical and operational preparations.

The opening is expected to strengthen air connectivity for government-controlled provinces, facilitating travel and boosting commercial movement.

Brigadier Tariq Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, departed on the inaugural flight heading to Brazil to participate in the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30), scheduled to take place in Belém, Amazon region, from November 10 to 21, with delegations from over 140 countries.
