Yemeni Prime Minister Holds Talks With Egyptian and Qatari Counterparts on Cooperation and Reform Efforts
Yemen’s Prime Minister Dr. Salim Saleh Bin Buraik met with Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on the sidelines of the Second Global Social Development Summit in Doha.

During his meeting with the Egyptian PM, discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation in securing international maritime routes in Bab al-Mandeb and the Red Sea, and benefiting from Egyptian expertise in energy, capacity-building, and institutional development. Both sides stressed the need to activate the joint high committee and encourage investment partnerships.

In talks with the Qatari PM, discussions covered Qatar’s support for Yemen’s economic reforms, recovery plans, and future cooperation in development, infrastructure, energy, education, and health. The Yemeni PM praised Qatar’s humanitarian and development support for Yemen.

Both Egypt and Qatar reaffirmed their support for Yemen’s legitimate government, unity, and stability, and their commitment to backing peace and economic recovery efforts.
