In December, Houthi militias suffered significant casualties. According to official data published by Houthi-affiliated media, 57 fighters were killed during this period, most of them officers. The casualties were confirmed through funeral announcements held in various areas under militia control.

December ranked as the second-highest month for Houthi losses in 2024, following January, which recorded 80 fatalities. Notably, officers made up around 82% of the total deaths, highlighting a sharp increase compared to regular fighters.

These losses reflect the growing pressure on Houthi forces across multiple battlefronts, where they continue to incur heavy human and material losses.
