U.S. Military Advances in Targeted Strikes Against Houthi Forces in Yemen
A senior official at the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has confirmed that the United States has made significant progress in its ongoing military operations against the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, the official stated that recent strikes successfully destroyed strategic Houthi assets, including command centers, weapons manufacturing facilities, and stockpiles of advanced weaponry.

Earlier today, U.S. fighter jets launched air raids targeting Houthi positions in the Yemeni cities of Sanaa, Saada, and Marib.

According to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the operations are being conducted around the clock and are supported by aircraft carriers USS Carl Vinson and USS Harry S. Truman.

Since mid-March, the U.S. has been carrying out a large-scale military campaign aimed at restoring freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden and neutralizing the Houthis’ military capabilities that threaten international shipping lanes.
