Urgent Probe Ordered into Mosque Raid in Aden
A senior official in the office of Presidential Leadership Council member and Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Commander Abdulrahman al-Muharrami, confirmed that the commander is personally following the case of the raid on Omar bin al-Khattab Mosque in Mansoura, Aden, and the arrest of its imam at dawn Thursday.

The official said al-Muharrami instructed his security team to launch an immediate investigation into the role of Dar Saad Police Chief Musleh al-Dharhani and the involved personnel, stressing accountability for those who violated the sanctity of the mosque.

Meanwhile, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden issued an urgent memorandum labeling the incident as a "serious breach" and demanded swift investigation and legal action against those responsible.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to the rule of law and the protection of religious sanctities.
