Houthi Militia Suffer Heavy Losses in Landmine Explosion in South Hodeidah
Seven Houthi fighters were killed and eight others injured in a random landmine explosion in southern Hodeidah, western Yemen.
Local sources reported that the incident occurred in the "Kuweyzi" area of Durayhimi district, as members of the Houthi missile force were passing through the region.
These landmines are the result of the militia's indiscriminate planting of explosive devices in areas under their control.
Immediately after the explosion, four ambulances rushed to the scene to transport the dead and wounded to Al-Thawra Hospital and the Military Hospital in Hodeidah city.
The frequency of landmine explosions planted randomly by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia has significantly increased in Hodeidah and along the western coast, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of their members.
