After Power Outages... Warning of Water and Sanitation Service Disruptions in Aden Due to Fuel Shortage
The Aden Water and Sanitation Corporation issued a statement on Tuesday, urging the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, and all concerned parties to urgently intervene to provide sufficient fuel to ensure the continuation of water and sanitation services.

The corporation warned that water and sanitation services might be completely halted due to the depletion of remaining fuel reserves and the total shutdown of the Aden electricity grid, starting from midnight today, Tuesday.

The corporation explained that the fuel it recently received from the Governor of Aden and the World Bank will be completely exhausted within the next 24 hours, leading to the shutdown of water wells, sewage pumps, and other critical infrastructure that rely on electricity generators to operate during power outages.

Additionally, the corporation confirmed that some power generators are no longer able to continue functioning due to the urgent need for maintenance. It emphasized the need for immediate intervention to prevent a complete disruption of water and sanitation servi
