Husilere Karşı Güney ve Batıdan Kara Operasyonu Hazırlığı: Hedef Hudeyde Limanı
Diplomatic sources and analysts have revealed ongoing preparations for a ground offensive targeting the Houthis from the south, east, and along the western coast of Yemen, aiming to halt their threats to maritime traffic in the Red Sea.

The anticipated operation may include naval support from both Saudi Arabia and the United States, with the strategic objective of recapturing the vital Hodeidah port.

Michael Knights, a fellow at the Washington Institute, noted that while the Houthis have lost some of their drone production capabilities, they remain highly resilient and difficult to defeat. He emphasized that only a ground offensive may be able to decisively weaken their military capabilities.

Knights added that the Houthis are seasoned guerrilla fighters, used to facing off against powerful armies, and are deeply rooted in tribal warfare traditions. Despite ongoing training and equipping efforts, he expressed skepticism about the ability of Yemeni government forces to take on the Houthis effectively.

He also suggested that the United States may provide limited logistical support rather than full military involvement.

Elizabeth Kendall, an expert on Yemen, questioned the endgame of the U.S. campaign, pointing out that the Houthis have endured years of airstrikes and still remain operational. Her comments cast doubt on whether military escalation will bring the desired results.
