UK-US Joint Airstrike Targets Houthi Facilities: A Decisive Response to Maritime Threats
In a coordinated effort, the United Kingdom and the United States conducted a joint airstrike targeting Houthi military installations in Yemen, aiming to counter ongoing threats to international maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

According to the UK Ministry of Defence, the operation focused on drone manufacturing facilities located approximately 25 kilometers south of Yemen's capital, Sanaa. Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4 jets, supported by Voyager refueling aircraft, deployed Paveway IV precision-guided bombs to ensure accurate targeting while minimizing civilian casualties. The strikes were executed after nightfall to further reduce risks to non-combatants, and all participating aircraft returned safely.

Houthi-affiliated media reported that the airstrikes hit multiple areas in Sanaa, including Bani Matar, Bani Hashish, Al-Hosn, and Hamdan, as well as Sahar in Saada and Bart Al-Anan in Al-Jawf province, amidst intense aerial activity.
