Women Protest in Taiz Over Deteriorating Living Conditions and Service Collapse
Hundreds of women staged a protest on Saturday in Taiz, southwestern Yemen, demanding better living conditions and basic services amid an ongoing economic crisis and severe water shortage.

Gathering in front of the governor's office on Jamal Street, protesters carried signs calling for electricity, clean water, food supplies, salary payments, and an end to local corruption.

Participants warned that continued government inaction would lead to further escalation. They called on the Presidential Leadership Council to take urgent measures to address the worsening humanitarian situation.

This protest mirrors similar demonstrations led by women in other southern cities, including Aden, Lahij, and Abyan.
