Deadly Bombing Hits Islah Party Headquarters in Taiz: 3 Killed Including Party Official, 11 Injured Mostly Students
Field sources and eyewitnesses have revealed shocking new details about the bombing that targeted the entrance of the Yemen Islah Party headquarters on Jamal Street in central Taiz, confirming a rise in the number of casualties.

According to the sources, initial investigations showed that the explosive device was professionally disguised to avoid suspicion. The bomb was concealed inside an object resembling a battery and a solar panel, placed at the entrance of the headquarters, and later detonated, causing extensive damage and direct injuries to civilians passing by.

The attack resulted in the deaths of three people, including senior Islah Party member and principal of Ammar bin Yasir School, Ibrahim Al-Sharai, who was killed along with another person while exiting the building. In addition, the son of the owner of a motorcycle parked near the explosive device succumbed to his severe injuries.

The number of injured has risen to 11, most of whom are school students who happened to be passing through the area while returning from mid-year exams. Women and other civilians present on the busy street were also among the wounded.

Images circulating from the scene showed the scale of destruction and the brutality of the attack in a densely populated area, sparking widespread public shock and anger, particularly due to the targeting of children and civilians using deceptive and treacherous methods.

Security forces in Taiz continue intensive investigations to track down and arrest the cell responsible for planting and detonating the explosive device, amid strong condemnations of the attack and growing calls to enhance security and protect public safety in the city.
