The Hour of Liberation Draws Near
The Yemeni Armed Forces have affirmed that the hour of liberation from the Iran-backed Houthi militia is approaching. Army brigades and popular resistance forces are advancing steadily toward a significant victory that will open the gates of Sana’a and restore Yemen to the path of statehood and republican governance.

This statement was highlighted in the Thursday edition of the military’s official newspaper, 26 September, under the headline "The Hour Draws Near."

The Armed Forces emphasized that the systematic plan to liberate the capital is progressing firmly, supported by the sacrifices of martyrs who have created heroic epics on the battlefield. The newspaper pointed out that liberation is imminent amid intensive preparations on both combat and logistical fronts.

It further noted that the Houthi militia has committed heinous crimes against the Yemeni people over the past 11 years, including abductions, torture, and destruction of infrastructure. The Armed Forces stressed that liberating prisoners and returning them to their families will be a key part of the anticipated justice.

The Yemeni people were urged to unite behind the national army and resistance forces, with assurances that victory is near and the suffering of Yemenis will end thanks to their resilience and determination.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council continues its meetings in Riyadh to discuss national and regional developments, according to the official SABA news agency.

Reports indicate that the Yemeni Armed Forces, in coordination with regional and international partners, are working to restore legitimate government, enhance maritime security, and curb Iranian influence through robust measures against the Houthis.

In this context, Presidential Council member Tareq Saleh called on the Houthi militia to heed the voice of the people as a path to saving Yemen from internal and external conflicts. He also pointed to Israeli escalation targeting Yemen, including airstrikes on power stations. Saleh emphasized that Yemen's salvation lies in the Houthis surrendering weapons, ending oppression, and adhering to the people's will.
