Former Houthi Minister Urges Comprehensive National Dialogue to Save Yemen from Collapse
Hussein Ali Hazeb, a former minister in the unrecognized Houthi government, has called for a comprehensive national initiative aimed at fostering dialogue and understanding among all Yemeni factions. He warns that continued division and conflict threaten the very fabric of Yemen, both its land and people.

In a message posted on his "X" platform account, Hazeb directly appeals to the leadership of the Supreme Political Council and the Sana'a government to initiate rapprochement with opposing political parties. He emphasizes that Yemen is experiencing an unprecedented crisis that necessitates a purely Yemeni solution, free from external interference.

Hazeb underscores the importance of halting media and incitement campaigns between factions, releasing all prisoners and detainees, rejecting the imposition of any ideology by force, and unifying positions within each party. He views these steps as goodwill measures to create a conducive environment for dialogue.

He clarifies that his call does not represent any political entity but reflects his personal opinion, aiming to contribute to rescuing the nation from the cycle of conflict and division.

Hazeb concludes his message by affirming that "Yemen is spacious enough for everyone," stressing the need to move beyond exclusionary practices and prioritize national interests over narrow political calculations.
