Al-Jaradi: Houthi Oppression Signals an Inevitable Collapse Like Fallen Empires of the Past
Ali Al-Jaradi, head of the Media Department of Yemen's Islah Party, stated that throughout history, empires and armed groups did not fall during times of weakness, but rather at the height of their military power—blinded by arrogance and disconnected from justice and human dignity.

In a Facebook post, Al-Jaradi cited examples such as the Roman Empire, Nazi Germany, and even Bashar al-Assad’s regime, arguing that raw power breeds illusion and decay.

He questioned: “What if the 'power' held by militias like the Houthis is used for killing, oppression, starving the people, and stripping away their identity?” He concluded that a regime pointing its weapon at its own people is not strong—it is at its weakest.
