Al-Mashat Threatens Israel with “Dark Days” after Killing of Al-Rahwi and Ministers in Israeli Strike
In a fiery speech, Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Houthi-run so-called "Supreme Political Council," threatened Israel with “dark days” following an Israeli airstrike that killed senior Houthi figure Ghalib al-Rahwi along with several ministers from the group’s self-styled "Government of Change and Construction" last Thursday.
Al-Mashat described the operation as a “stroke of luck” for Israel, vowing it would not be repeated, and stressed that the Houthis were in a “position of strength” while continuing to build up their military capabilities.
“Our revenge does not sleep,” al-Mashat declared, warning settlers to leave occupied territories and urging foreign companies to immediately quit Israel. He added that his government would continue through a caretaker administration, insisting that airstrikes and threats would not halt the Houthis’ political and military project.
