Shocking Breach: Houthis Probe Ministers’ Phone Records After Israeli Strike on “Erhavi Government”
Exclusive sources told Al-Mashhad Al-Yemeni that the Houthis have completed the first phase of extracting phone records of “Erhavi government” ministers, most of whom were killed in a recent Israeli airstrike. Only four ministers survived, suffering from severe injuries and disabilities.
According to the sources, the investigation also included phone calls of the ministers’ first- and second-degree relatives, as part of an extensive probe launched by Houthi intelligence following the surprise attack that targeted a government meeting at the residence of senior leader Zubara.
The Houthis are reportedly moving into a new phase of investigations that could involve over twenty individuals suspected of contacting the ministers shortly before the strike. While some accuse insiders of collaborating with foreign intelligence agencies — including Israel’s Mossad — others suggest the attack was enabled by advanced technical breaches of secure communication networks.
The sources added that ministers had handed over their phones to Houthi security at Al-Saleh Mosque before being transported in mirrored buses to the meeting. Despite these precautions, Israeli intelligence was already aware of the exact time and location — exposing an unprecedented level of infiltration into the Houthis’ inner circle.
