Headline: Yemen's Oldest Person Passes Away at 160 in Abyan
Early this Saturday morning, Abubakr Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hanshi, recognized as Yemen's oldest person, passed away at the age of 160 in Abyan Governorate.
According to close sources, Al-Hanshi died after suffering from a serious illness in recent days. He had been living in his hometown of Jahra in the Wadiya district, where he remained in good health and mentally sharp until his passing.
Abubakr Al-Hanshi was known for his remarkable memory, often recalling events from Yemen's past, and was a highly respected figure in his community. Throughout his life, he maintained both physical and mental strength, earning him a unique place in the region's history.
