Historic Agreements Between Saudi Arabia and the U.S.: $600 Billion Investment, $142 Billion Defense Deal
Riyadh – In a landmark development, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and former U.S. President Donald Trump signed the Strategic Economic Partnership Document today at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.
According to the White House, the agreement includes a $600 billion Saudi investment commitment in the U.S., and a record-breaking $142 billion defense deal, making it the largest arms sales agreement in history.
The defense package involves cutting-edge military equipment and services provided by over a dozen American defense companies. It also includes extensive training and support programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Saudi armed forces.
High-Level Talks
Following the signing, the two leaders held bilateral talks, with the participation of more than 40 top Saudi officials from political, economic, and security sectors. The Saudi Crown Prince also welcomed the U.S. official delegation, including major business figures such as Elon Musk.
These agreements mark a new chapter in U.S.-Saudi relations, emphasizing mutual commitment to economic growth and regional security cooperation.
