Islah Party: Overcoming the previous phase requires forming a government based on loyalty to the state and professional expertise
The official spokesperson of Yemen’s Islah Party, Adnan Al-Adini, stated that the country is facing a decisive moment, stressing that overcoming the previous phase depends on forming a government built on loyalty to the state and professional specialization.
In an article published by Sahwa Net, Al-Adini said the upcoming government would represent a critical turning point, determining whether Yemen moves toward recovery and institutional restoration or continues down a path of prolonged crisis.
He pointed out that recent years have witnessed growing external influence over islands, coastlines, and key decision-making centers, accompanied by the recruitment of armed groups and local officials — a process that weakened the state, fragmented geography, and enabled the looting of national resources.
Al-Adini emphasized that the selection of the next government must rely on two fundamental criteria that cannot be ignored: professional expertise and national political competence.
He explained that political competence means commitment to the constitution and law, respect for central state authority, and rejection of any armed formations or parallel structures outside official security and judicial institutions.
Regarding professional specialization, Al-Adini stressed that public administration cannot tolerate experimentation or favoritism, noting that ministerial positions must be filled by individuals with proven expertise and the capacity to manage complex portfolios.
He concluded that combining professional competence with loyalty to the state would strengthen government institutions, limit the influence of parallel power centers, and close the channels previously used for external interference in national decision-making and resource exploitation.
