The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported the destruction of two missile launch platforms in Houthi-controlled areas.

In a statement on Platform X, it confirmed: "Within the past 24 hours, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully destroyed two Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) launch platforms in a Houthi-controlled area in Yemen."

It indicated that the launch platforms posed an imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, as well as commercial vessels transiting the area.

It noted that U.S. forces will continue to take actions to safeguard freedom of navigation and ensure the safety of international waters for vessels in the Red Sea region.
