Political Parties in Al-Bayda Condemn Houthi Crimes and Call for International Action to Classify Them as a Terrorist Organization
Political parties and organizations in Al-Bayda province strongly condemned the crimes committed by the Houthi terrorist militias, backed by Iran, against civilians and civilian properties in the Hanaka Al-Masoud area in the Karishiya district, Qifa, Al-Bayda. They described these crimes as full-fledged war crimes that are not subject to statute of limitations.
The parties emphasized that the siege imposed on the area, along with the targeting of civilians by drones and heavy weaponry, is a blatant violation of international law. They called on the international community, the United Nations, and the UN Security Council to take urgent and decisive action against the Houthi group, including classifying it as a terrorist organization.
The statement added that these crimes reflect the bloodthirsty nature of the Houthi militias and are an extension of their ongoing crimes against the people of Al-Bayda and Yemen as a whole. It also emphasized that the Houthis are a true embodiment of violence and extremism.
The parties held the Houthi leadership fully responsible for these heinous crimes and called on the Presidential Council and the legitimate government to take immediate and firm action to liberate Al-Bayda province from this fascist terrorist group.
Furthermore, the parties urged civil society organizations and human rights activists to document these violations, which involve crimes against innocent women and children, as they are in direct violation of human rights principles and international agreements.
