Growing Threat in Yemen: Warnings of Israeli Occupation and Sovereignty Risks
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee and a member of Yemen's Shura Council, tribal leader Alawi Al-Basha Bin Zaba, has warned of an imminent danger threatening Yemen's sovereignty and future. Highlighting the risk of parts of the country being occupied by Israel, Bin Zaba called on Yemenis to unite and act against this looming threat.
In a post on the social media platform X, Bin Zaba stated:
"O people of Yemen, the situation is dire, and the danger is immense. Our country's resources, sovereignty, and position on the map are under threat. The decision has been made by the grand orchestrator in Washington. The coming days will reveal the magnitude of this peril."
Urging Yemenis to take action without delay, Bin Zaba referenced Lebanon's experience with Hezbollah as an example, saying:
"If all Yemenis do not move to save their country from the madness of the Houthis, as Lebanon acted to rein in Hezbollah, break its ties with Iran, and align with international legitimacy, then you will wake up to find your country destroyed and parts of its coasts and islands occupied by Israel. History will not forgive you, and it will judge everyone equally."
He also warned of the possibility of a third party emerging to seize control of the country, stating:
"You may be surprised by a third force taking the initiative, dominating the scene, and sidelining everyone."
These warnings come amid ongoing Israeli, American, and British attacks in Yemen, carried out under the pretext of deterring the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
